Its a bit old but I'm still surprised that Starkey didn't actually think through how he phrased the idea of blacks and whites. The turning the TV off but keeping the audio on sentence for example presented the whole entire arguement here. Although I do hope he was reffering to the idea of 'gang culture' rather than 'black culture' considering the two are strongly different although easily mistaken due to pop culture, i.e. music, presenting them as being closely aligned.
